Terms of use

Last updated October 23, 2026

These terms cover the ScreenLasso app, its plugins for AI agents and this website. “We” means the developer of ScreenLasso. By using them, you agree to these terms.

The app

When you get ScreenLasso from the Mac App Store, your licence to use it is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If the two disagree, Apple’s agreement applies.

Your content

Everything you capture, edit or convert stays yours, and stays on your Mac. You’re responsible for having the right to use it, and for respecting other people’s privacy and rights in what you capture and share.

AI agents

ScreenLasso can let AI apps on your Mac use it as a tool, if you turn that on. Those apps are made by other companies and have their own terms. You decide which apps get your key and which folders they can use, and you’re responsible for what you ask them to do. An agent can save new files in the folders you allow; ScreenLasso never replaces or deletes existing files for an agent. Check results before relying on them.

Plugins

The ScreenLasso plugins for Claude and Codex are published under the MIT License in the screenlasso-plugins repository.

No warranty

ScreenLasso and this website are provided “as is”. We work to keep them reliable, but we don’t promise they’ll be error-free or always available. Keep copies of originals you can’t replace.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or files, arising from your use of ScreenLasso. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use ScreenLasso means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting the consumer protections of the country you live in.
